Simple, one-pot, three-component: Synthesis of tetrasubstituted pyrimidines under solvent-free conditions

Tetrasubstituted pyrimidines are synthesized via a simple, one-pot, treecomponent reaction between aromatic nitriles, hydroxylamine, and arylidenemalonitrile under solvent-free conditions in good to excellent yields.
