Abstrakt

Polyaniline modified spongy carbon felt as anode material for ethanol fuel cell

Electrocatalytic activity of electrodeposited platinumonto a carbon felt support has been studied using cyclic voltammetry. The electrode surface was furthermodified with a very thin filmof polyaniline. The observed performance of themodified electrode for the ethanol oxidation is better than that of a felt electrode. This has been explained in terms of good ethanol adsorption onto modified carbon felt surface.
